Pastor Doug attended CBC as a teen, and graduated from Alleghany High School. He attended Appalachian Bible College, where he met his wife Dorcas. He also received his Master's Degree from Columbia International University. Pastor Doug and Dorcas served the Lord for two decades in the mountains of Ecuador as missionaries among the Awa people. In 2011 they returned to Covington and he became part of the pastoral staff. In 2015 Pastor Doug became the lead pastor. Doug and Dorcas have three children, and are proud grandparents of five grandchildren. Pastor Doug is an avid hunter and fisherman, and is a Virginia Tech Hokies fan.
